Our Staff
Prior to providing care to our clients, all employees must successfully pass a statewide criminal background check, meet the mandated medical requirements and demonstrate abilities and knowledge of care to be provided. Specialty HomeCare Services insures all employees with liability, malpractice, worker’s compensation and bonding against theft.
Our staff consists of people who:
- Have passed a state approved training program
- Meet the stringent criteria for working with SHS that includes:
- completion of a competency test
- projecting a positive, compassionate and empathetic attitude
- positive reference checks
- a negative criminal record check
- up-to-date medical requirements, including immunizations
- completion of an intense orientation
- Participate in educational inservices
- Continue to exhibit excellent care as determined by quarterly evaluations
